Boomer says" recently I was inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame (June 10, 2009) for the Palm Pedal, which I came up with 41 years ago. Thanks to all benders here for supporting both me and the device for all these years. In my acceptance speech at the Hall of Fame club I said-nashville traditionally reveres the dead and ignores the living; they must have heard I was violently ill-Seriously, it is you players out there that brought not only my palm pedal device to the forefront, but all bending devices, thereby creating a whole new sound to the guitar.
